Today as Senator Chief Andrew Uchendu mounts  the podium and takes oath of office as Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria , it marked the collapse of the manipulation of our electoral system by  a self styled evil STRONGMAN & his whistle blower . The swearing in of Senator Uchendu also marks real victory of the people's power and conquest of resilience and determination over violence.
I salute Senator Uchendu for  his moment of glory and our leader Rt Hon CRA for offering leadership that strengthens our resolve,courage and gives hope to ordinary people.  Those who celebrated the short lived victory of  electoral manipulation will definitely fear God Almighty and also know that there is a limit to which they can manipulate our weak institutional systems . Chief Senator Andrew Uchendu represents the TRUE spirit of the Riversman and Rivers state. This marks a new beginning and NEVER AGAIN will darkeness becloud our land again .



I join all Rivers people and particularly the thousands of young men and women who are ready to go to any length to defend their conviction to celebrate this new era. I thank all those who made necessary sacrifice to be in Abuja to witness this historic day . I thank those who invested resources to celebrate our brand new senator in both newspaper publication and various mass media platforms .
Thank you to the real leader of the  revolution in RVS .

The holy grail of democracy is the widespread participation of people in the business of power, legitimised by the representation of elected leaders. Participation is so meaningful that the noun derivative of democracy, democratisation, means "the action of making something accessible to everyone".
