NIGERIA @57, THE WAY FORWARD FOR YOUTH EMANCIPATION
Nowadays, people and property are not well taken care of because the government and people in position of power has leave to their bid.
Nigeria is blessed with natural endowment that can solve and sort people's challenge. But,our government and humans occupying sensitive position has not leave their demands, things are not going the way it should to better the life of the youth and other citizens of the country Example : NYSC.
Since the establishment of NYSC,in May 22nd 1973 where the first director General AHMADU ALI served until 1975,Nigeria and Nigerians has not enjoyed the use of the scheme.
I said so because NYSC as it implies is a National youth service corps literally a service to your father's land to the community and locality you find your self.
The provision made for this corps members are not to be compare with the attention given to militancy and militant group in our country where a corps member receive #19,500 every end of month with tideous work and a militant in Niger-Delta or other region in our country receive #65,000 with a vocational training, please, tell me Nigeria government, are you encouraging crime or Education? Because a situation where a youth goes to school, serves his father's land,without a better provision of job,and a militant who didn't pass through major education process receives #65,000. Then the expectation of the university graduate is cut short,and his thought changes.
Nigeria is the only country I see that encourage crime,a country where due process is not well carried out, a country where the people being governed are left on their own,without adequate supervision ,a country where impunity and cruelty are found in political offices among the officers.
Nigeria,we are bless but, our leaders are not posterity in mature, meaning that their legacy for the new generation is dead because of their thinking ability and nature of governance.
Since independent in October 1st, 1960. All we hear is the youth are leaders of tomorrow, they are the future,when will that be? A place where our folks has planted bottles that doesn't grow,there by occupying offices to dimming the dreams of the youth.
THE BRIGHT VISIONARY LEADERS FOR YOUTH INITIATIVE is of the opinion that government should change their policy and the way they treat the concerns of the youths.
Amnesty to the youth is not the best because it has not changed the administrative performance in the regions rather it has caused more havoc, making the youths who receive the monthly #65,000 from the federal government and state government to be lazy,why those that went to school with their degrees lured shallow,some thinking for carrying arms, because it seems is the only way to get government listen to you.
Again we believe that the money spent on this amnesty program, if is used in the reverse direction,like involving graduate to a meaningful vocational training a cross the region it will decrease the rate of unemployment amongs the youths especially in Niger-Delta.
We also ask the federal government to look into the activities of Niger Delta Development Commission(NDDC) in our region, so far the reason for its establishment has not been practiced, even from the time of the passed president.
THE BRIGHT VISIONARY LEADERS FOR YOUTH INITIATIVE is pleased to inform the presidency that we in Niger-Delta is not enjoying the beautiful of democracy as it should be through the commission, because of the bad governance in the present NDDC administration. In this administration (NDDC) there's so much impunity and injustice in the commission, so much diversion of found to personal pocket.
Mr. President,your administration is to combat corruption to zero level, while you are working tirelessly to ensure we fight corruption generally in all sector, the MD Mr. Isima Ekere and his colleagues in NDDC is denting your right picture, in the fight of corruption. We call on you to checkmate their activities, using the right agency to view their acts.
His Excellency sir, if the right thing is done in our regions, crime will reduce, aggitation will stop,peace will be restored, youths will be employed, industrialization will increase.
