I WILL FOLLOW RT HON. CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI TILL WHENEVER HE DECIDES TO RETIRE FROM POLITICS - HON. CHIKORDI DIKE.
The leader of APC in Obio/Akpor Hon. Chikordi Dike has urged the people of Rivers State to give the Minister of Transportation and leader of the party Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi their maximum support.
The leader spoke in a meeting with the leadership of Progressives Change Ambassadors (PCA) Obio/Akpor chapter who paid him a solidarity visit in Port Harcourt.
The chairman of PCA in Obio/Akpor Mr Odum Jacop in his opening speech thanked the leader for giving them the opportunity to meet with him. He therefore expressed the PCA's unflinching support to his leadership in Obio/Akpor and the leadership of Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi in Rivers State. Mr Jacop used the opportunity to acquaint the leader with the laudable programmes of PCA in mobilising support for Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
According to the LGA leader Hon Chikordi Dike "RT HON CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI IS A VERY-VERY NICE PERSON. SOME OF YOU JUST KNOW HIM FROM FAR, BUT IF YOU ARE CLOSE TO HIM LIKE SOME OF US ARE, YOU WILL KNOW THAT HE IS NATURALLY A GOOD MAN. IN MY POLITICAL CAREER I HAVE MET AND INTERACTED WITH SO MANY PERSONS, BUT IN ALL, I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY POLITICIAN THAT IS AS GOOD AS CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI.
ALL THE FIGHTS AMAECHI IS FIGHTING IS NOT FOR HIS OWN PERSONAL BENEFIT, BUT FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S BENEFIT. FOR INSTANCE, AMAECHI WILL NOT BECOME GOVERNOR AGAIN, HE WONT BE COMMISSIONER, ASSEMBLY MEMBER, COUNCIL CHAIRMAN, COUNCILOR, SUPERVISOR ETC. AMAECHI COULD HAVE DECIDED TO STAY ON HIS OWN AND ENJOY HIS LIFE WITH HIS FAMILY. SO ASK YOURSELF, WHAT IS AMAECHI REALLY FIGHTING FOR?
AMAECHI IS JUST FIGHTING AND HAVING SLEEPLESS NIGHTS FOR OTHERS PEOPLE'S BENEFIT AND FOR RIVERS STATE TO GET BETTER. THAT IS THE KIND OF MAN YOU SHOULD FOLLOW WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART. WHEN APC WINS YOU WILL BE THE ONES TO OCCUPY VARIOUS POSITIONS IN THE STATE, NOT OUR LEADER THE RT HON CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI. FOR ME I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI TILL HE RETIRES FROM POLITICS"
Thereafter, he urged them to step up actions an to also key in to the programmes of Free Rivers Development Initiative in their various units, in other to deepen mobilization.
Finally, the leader of APC in Obio/Akpor assured members of PCA and the people of Obio/Akpor that it is only God that can stop APC from winning Rivers State in 2019. Hence they should all go and do their own bit in mobilising people for the ongoing voters registration.
