*THERE CAN'T BE A BETTER TIME THAN 2019: KALABARI TRUE PATRIOTS (KTP), RESOUNDS*
The birth of the Kalabari True Patriots (KTP) was laid on the foundation of Love, Peace, Unity, One voice and anticipated Exceeding greatness. We were missioned on first projecting the Love that will manifest peace amongst ourselves as Kalabari, then uniting with a strength that no man, no power neither knowledge nor wisdom can divide. And finally tend to dissipate that strength on speaking with one voice, even as we translate all these tools to acquire an exceeding greatness. Such greatness that will transform not only Rivers State but the entire Nation into such excellence that will intimidate even developed nations as it relates to massive developmental strides.
Saddled with such responsibility, we advanced tenaciously towards definite achievement. We decreed never to fail irrespective of the bottlenecks we might experience on the way. The journey though highly stormy, yet the passion that necessitated the "TRUE" in our nomenclature stood as the propeller that pushed us into such motion that even the storms couldn't hinder our accelerated speed.
There is no gainsaying to state that: whenever Kalabari is saddled with responsibility of leadership,it worked with all and sundry hence there has always been conspicuous progress. Such progress that has always employed joy absent end to the people and residents of the State and country. Our vast but naturally endowed knowledge and understanding of resources have always given us that edge: it is what you have inside of you that creates the wealth you see physically. We deliver as at when due; such is the essence of good governance. Such stands the history that made Rivers State to be known for her excellence, excellence duly attracted by the rest of the world.
And so, when we reminiscence on such history, and now seeing the state of the State as conditioned by the present government, one can only come to the conclusion that, our once revered Rivers State can only be compared to a dunghill. It has become a living hell, a state of no developmental value. Where education has become a regret: Quality Education matters no more, just be knowledgeable in the use of guns. Human and Physical infrastructures matters no more, save for self aggrandizements. Today, in as much as the State is concerned, we are led in such circumstance where leaders lead for the people to serve them and not for them to serve the people. An act which can only be described thus: the people and residents of Rivers State are being enslaved by the very ones that are supposed to protect and give them quality life worthy of inexplicable joy. We live in a State where criminals are celebrated whereas excellence is put to shame. Poverty has become a norm, because life has being made valueless. This wasn't the Rivers State we met and knew, it is rather a Rivers State that has been forced on us by Mediocrity, Self centeredness and vessels of Dishonour.
It is in the thoughts of how then do we get it back from these traitors and haters of good that galvanized us into existence. And in achieving it, the tools as rightly stated above are the weapons to be used: Love, Peace, Unity and One voice.
Because we did not used the right tools, it has today manifested such result that has clearly shown the takeover of leadership come 2019 by right and able hands that will bring about Exceeding greatness.
The Kalabari True Patriots believed that, if Kalabari must lead, then Kalabari must first unite themselves in order to speak with one voice. Whereas others thought it's a thing of impossibility, we the Kalabaris have categorically resolved that, it has been settled. Here stands a unitedly bonded Kalabari of the 3 LGAs:

That Kalabari leads does not mean it is solely a Kalabari affair, No!. It is rather beyond the Riverine, a Rivers State affair. A Rivers State that we will all be proud of, one that will take us to the Apex we ought to be. A citadel of development that will compete with and best the rest. We therefore seek for togetherness as Riverine and Rivers people: let's look at a united Rivers State that is aimed at being the giant of the nation, devoid of Party affiliations, tribe and sentiments. We must see it as a rescue mission, a mission that is possible if we must save ourselves from this bondage of crass negligence to duties, negligence to proper accountability, crass display of mediocrity and obviousness in the jeopardizing of an Exceedingly great Rivers State.
